The best Bricklander can do is claim she arrived on the scene just as the "ripper" responsible fled. It would have to be a VERY convincing argument that the killer teleported or something since outside of Bricklander's strength/laser beams there is no possible evidence of other powers or gear in use.
Caramel64 might let her go in the moment, but if she so much as discovers anything that might even point at Bricklander-- circumstantial evidence with no follow-up, even pure coincidence, Bricklander's death is only being delayed.
